Yes there is a train that connects them Amtrak's Capitol Limited.
But I will use a rental car.

OK so here is the addition of my itinerary so you can see where I join Siri or where you can meet and greet. If someone would feel like:
aug. 26: Rome,Italy (changing planes)
aug.27 - 30: Los Angeles (joins Siri)
aug.30 - sep. 3: Washington DC (with Siri)
sep. 4-5: Richmond (with Siri,JERIC and kids and lots more)
sep. 6: travel to Rome, Italy
sep. 7 - 9: undetermined for meet & greets in Italy
sep. 9-12 Verona, Italy (Morricone concert, with Girlfriend and Xalira)

After my trip to the Film Music Festival and a Tour-de-Pologne with molossus I will visit some German towns:
I will probably will look for hotels in or near the following places:
Berlin, Magdeburg, Göttingen, Münster.
So if you live in or near these places and want to have a meet & greet with a drink or dinner, just PM me.
