Salut or hello friends of french animated movies,
a recent discussion or rather a session of remembering "good old times" with platy made us aware of the fact that we're lacking the "the Arsenic cake song" from "Asterix and Cleopatra"  or to extend this: SST lacks all of the lovely songs and tracks that are part of the animated Asterix movies .
Now we've got the chance to purchase the album "Asterix au cinema", where all the crazy and funny tracks are assembled that were in the animated Asterix movies !!! It's high time for SST to close that cultural gap !!! Even though Asterix might be a European phenomenon, Americans might have heard of Asterix, too. The only album we've got from the almost classic series is "Asterix in America". Moreover, as there are soundtracks from far lesser known animated movies here, I say that Asterix is worth adding because it's well known (at least in Europe), it's an assembly of classics, it's funny, it's french (and I can't deny being francophile), it's errr help me... it's worth adding full stop... |

We definitely need this cd on SST. The Asterix-theme is great and funny and also i like several music from "Astérix et Cléopatre" which i saw at school as first of the Asterix-movies. |

Excellent for requesting on fridays! I love Asterix. Though I'm not as good in French as I am in English or Dutch, it'll still be an awesome ST to have.
