Here's a hypothetical question for everyone.

You're a new rookie on a major league baseball team hoping to begin a successful career among some of the best players in the world.

As you're practicing your swing in the on-deck circle, you see the hitter in the batter's box strike out. You're up next.

The PA announcer welcomes you to the plate.

"Now batting.....the right fielder........number twenty-nine.......*YOUR NAME HERE*!"

As soon as he finishes your introduction, the crowd applauds and your favorite music is played over the ballpark loud speakers.

What would that music be? What would you like your fans to hear so they can get pumped up for your at-bat?

Keep in mind that typical MLB walk-up music can last anywhere from five to twenty seconds so try to narrow it down to the right line, chorus or theme that represents you best. Your answer does not have to be a music track from the SST playlist.

My walk-up music would probably be the chorus of Survivor's "Burning Heart." I have a soft spot for Rocky IV and this song has that perfect inspirational kick that's needed to build confidence.

For me it will be Rogier van Otterloo's Soldaat van Oranje (Soldier of Orange):

Most likely the fellowship theme of the Lord of the Rings (as heard at the Bridge of Khazad-Dûm scene for example). Sounds somewhat heroic. Samples at http://www.woodzie.org/lotr/fellowship.htm

Cool question indeed! I know what Sirius sees in that Soldaat van Oranje.

Depending on my mood, I would have to go with "Imperial March - Rage Mix" from the Star Wars: Force Commander Soundtrack.

At other times, "Sanctus - Der Prophet" from Wojciech Kilar's Konig Der Letzten Tage:
