Hello everyone.
The festival for film music in Auxerres (France) will start from 14 to 18 November.
The 17th November, there's a concert with John Barry music (conducted by Nicholas Dodd).
I'll certainly be there. Are there any SST who want to join?

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to go there, having a quite complicated agenda for November and December  Have a great time there!

Well I'm using MP's thread to fill in a void on the concert of John Barry music. It was held yesterday in Het Kuipke in Gent, Belgium and 8 SSt-members gathering there along with relatives and wanna-be-member Ome Sjakie.
In the break I also met with the organizers from the krakow filmmusic festival. (good to see Agata again)

thx masked_platypus, but I was one of the 8 members in Ghent  so not going to join the one in France. 
If you have the luck, John Barry will be there this time.

btw this thread started in 2007, so I think m_p meant 14 to 18 November 2007. 
Dutchbat did some digging with the search function to see if there was a John Barry thread already.

Yes, I was there in 2007, the reason why I wasn't on Gent this year. Barry was outstanding in France, I'm sure he was again this time.

The concert was outstanding for sure.... but must have been
awesome if the maestro himself was conducting. |
