That is right, our new community contest. Time to be awesome!
The contest is very simple: submit a picture of you being awesome.
The picture has to follow the following rules:
* It has to be you (and awesome)
* It has to be from 2010 (and awesome)
* It has to be you alone (and awesome)
* It has to be 'safe for work' (Meeh :S)
So what's the prize? A year of Fame and Fortune.
So ask a friend who has a camera to take an awesome picture of you if you do not have one already. You can send the awesome picture to caliburn(AT)24seven.fm.
Deadlines:
Submission of the pictures: December 4th 12:01 AM SST time
(That means they must be sent on or before November 30th)
Voting ends: Dec 19th 12:01 AM SST time
During the voting phase, the names of the people on the photos are hidden. So keep it a secret which photo is yours to keep the contest fair. Names will be shown after the contest is over. Will you be able to recognize the most of them?
So get those cameras and start shooting and submitting and do not forget: be awesome!

Well, this contest gives me something to do with a photo which, otherwise, would totally have been submitted for the sexiest contest, if it were still around. I hope it will be enjoyed, though "awesome" is always in the eye of the beholder.
Lately, it's been harder to imagine being awesome by myself and not with the little person in tow. Maybe a return to teaching will change that.
