We at SST have proven that we can’t express ourselves enough when it comes to how much we appreciate this site and its community. And to prove my point, I’ve put it upon myself to create a few new smileys for my chatting friends of Streaming Soundtracks.com. Some of these are ones that are already in existence, but felt they needed some TLC.
The Christmas smileys (Santa Hats) are a holiday favorite. I enjoy the red hats too, but a couple needed some tweaking to fully express themselves properly. Whether its creation was intentional or not, the mis-fitted hat on eek smiley came off as a hit. It soon became affectionately known as the “stoner” smiley. I only wish to add to the community and not take away what it enjoys. So here’s my proposal on this particular icon: replace the current Christmas “stoned” eek face with the new icon and simply recode the old one to -blah- or -whoa- so that way those who use bleary-eyed Santa can continue to enjoy it while those who wish to express proper Christmas time stupefaction can do so with the eek we all know and love. Everyone wins. 
Fixed Icons:
Christmas Eek - eek - (Now that’s an eek)
Christmas Big Eek - bigeek - or :O (poor thing’s eyes were a bit pixel-ated)
Christmas Smile No* - happyno -
Christmas Sad Yes* - sadyes -
*I didn’t know if these were in the works or not. If not, I saved whomever the trouble. hehe
New Icons for Your Consideration:
 
Regular and Christmas Blush -blush- (Sometimes looking bashful and cute with shy isn’t enough)
New Groove (There’s a Christmas Groove one out there, so here’s a complementing icon. I know a few chatters have wanted something like this or tried to approximate it with text art. With this new icon, you can now properly jam out chat-style to your favorite STs.)
As the list header below says, these were made for fun, but maybe there are those out there that think it can be an awesome addition.
Fun Icons:
Bacon -bacon- (It’s bacon! What more can I say?)
Cookie -cookie- (A traditional favorite! Yum!)
 
Regular and Christmas OMG -omg- (You can’t tell me some of the links you’ve seen posted in chat haven’t made you want to make this face.)
(Codes written after icon names for currently non-existant icons are simply my proposals of what you can use to type them up in chat.)
So there you go! I had fun making these and hopefully, if they get added, you can enjoy them too. If you like any or all of these, speak up.
