The dates are in! The 5th Annual SST West Coast Gathering will be Saturday, August 27th.
Just wanted to create this topic and get the buzz going. I haven't been around lately since the chat was blocked at work.
For the past 4 years now I've organized a west coast gathering that revolves around a John Williams concert. The way it works is this.... In order for me to reserve tickets, I need to put a deposit down. Because the deposit is non-refundable, I need 10 people to pay for their ticket so I can reserve 30. The minimum amount of tickets needed to qualify for group sales is 10. This way if we don't have 30 people, I can cancel 20 and keep 10 and nobody owes anything extra. Prices should be around $37 per person, with a small chance of upgrading to the $45 seats.
PM me if interested. Regular ticket sales go on sale in May. At that point it goes through ticketmaster and you end up paying more for that same seat because of the in-"convenience" fees.

Tickets this year are $40, that covers all fees. We're in section F3.

Can I pay this time only with Siroopwafels?  
At the moment I am not sure yet. And if I can come it will be a short trip (1 - 2 weeks) to the states.
If I come I will be there also on the friday morning for the rehearsal. Would be nice to meet other SST members then. It is nice to see the maestro giving his comments to the orchestra, you can sit close at the stage and it is free
