I porpose to go to Madame Tussaud. A very famous and nice museum at the Dam Square in the heart of Amsterdam. Nice museum with famous dolls made of wax. See for more info: http://www.madametussauds.com/Amsterdam/en/Default.aspx _________________ A filmscore can make or break a movie |

When it is a nice day we should make a walk tour through the city and/or boat trip through the canals, drinking something outside one of the many pubs and closing the gathering with a nice dinner. _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

Madame Tussaud looks interesting. If we have time I'd like to go there. But I'll be also happy with some nice walk through the city, a ride on water bus, visit to famous red light district, and a dinner with friends _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Well Nessy, we skipped that allready when we took you into Amsterdam the first time. The Red Light District is one of the nicest places in Amsterdam, even for women, it has a great atmosphere en both male and female can enjoy watching all the hustle on the small pathways along the red-lit windows.
A visit to "the Old Sailor"-pub is my favorite pastime
there and a great Spanish tapasbar too.
But I can take Molossus there if you don't wanna come. _________________

Yep, and that brings up a good idea:
Let's have a workshop poledancing. It would be fun doing and watching
Gf and Nessy doing some topsport will be hilarious. _________________

Hi Dutchbat. How are you? It will be great to meet you and girlfriend in Amsterdam. A canal tour should be great for molossus, Nessy and other SSTmembers i guess. We have enough time to make a little programm for that weekend. To visit the Red Light District area is a good choice.
We will see.
There will be also a possibility to visit "De Negen Straatjes" (the nine streets) of Amsterdam. Very famous. Too many choices to choose _________________ A filmscore can make or break a movie |

I'm already telling you: I have been to the Red Light Disrict and i feel *really* no need to go again. I guess Molossus won't be leaving at saturday evening again, so maybe he could visit it another day...

I can NOT agree with you about that. Last year when i was there me & my mom lost our way and ended up in the red light district accidentially and I really felt not comfortable in that surrounding there are so many nice places in Amsterdam |

I have to strongly agree with Nessy. I personally don't see any point in ever going ever in general but in particular not for this SST meeting. On top of the whole thing being distasteful, disgusting, degrading and maybe even insulting or upsetting, there are so many other things we can do in and around Amsterdam (or maybe even in a wider area if we take the train for a bit) I can't see any good reason for the meeting to spend any amount of time there. |

I think we should try to spend all of the gathering time together, so if anybody feels no need to go to the red light district, let's skip it. No problem for me at all.
Let's do the things all of us want to do. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

@Molossus and Nessy. Perhaps you would like to see my cd collection at my home? I have 750 original scores in my cd cabinet.
Sirius was witness of it. _________________ A filmscore can make or break a movie |
