I met Gert!!!!
Gert came to Seattle for a conference. A pretty big deal near as I could figure from her conversation. I did not know if I would get to meet and greet her or not! But as all good tourists know, one must eat!
I picked her and her roommate up and with my friend Tim we headed for the waterfront of Seattle. She said they did not care what we had, as long as it was fresh fish!
I found a place I wanted to try as well as others said it was great. It is called the Crab Pot. It is a New England boiled dinner dumped on your table and you pick and crab away! Well all the seafood was from the area here and north in Alaska. Three kinds of crab, butter clams, Puget Sound mussels, shrimp with heads on and heads off, potatoes, corn on the cob and little bits of andouille sausage.
Yummmy to be sure.
Gert is just as fun in person as in chat. I was disappointed she did not bring any dookies along! 
We chatted a bit before dinner came, but you know after that... it was quiet.
She wanted ice cream and saved room from dinner. But alas at 8:30 P.M. on a Thursday night, the place was closed.
I took them on a short drive about some spots. I showed her where Sirius had gone and the huge library one of his countrymen designed.
It was a shame they had to fly home on Friday and not hang around for the weekend.
Thanks Gert for a good time. Come again any time!
My list of SST fans is at 24 I have met.

After the AmSSTerdam Meeting I have Added two members to my list: Caliburn and MagicRush. Soon I think I can add one more, since a friend of Cal was there and although he knows SST from the early days 10 years ago, he never registered. that will change soon.

Edited my list as well with Caliburn and magicrush and HMH, the provvisional name of Cal's pal who soon will become member. At least that's what we hope for.
 That would be the newest member to show up at a gathering then.
So he'd better register before Krakow.
