Woohoo! I got my expansion, Frozen Throne yesterday! What I decided to do is make my own Audio CD of all the new music and some of the music from Reign of Chaos that is not on the CD release I got with the Collector's Edition along with the Trailer Music that can be downloaded from the website. I turned my Warcraft III soundtrack into a double CD by changing the jewel case to the kind that holds 2 cds and added the CD I made.
Here is how to extract the music:
1. Open "Drive:\Program Files\Warcraft III\World Editor.exe"
2. F5 or go to Module >
Sound Editor
3. Right click the file you want then "Export Sound". It will save to your hard drive as an MP3.
Pretty simple eh?
From doing that I produced the following soundtrack:
Warcraft III, Frozen Throne - Tracy W. Bush, Glenn Stafford, Victor Crews (77:35)
01 - The Frozen Throne
02 - Comradeship
03 - Arthas Theme
04 - Human 1
05 - Human 2
06 - Human 3
07 - Human X1
08 - Illidans Theme
09 - Blood Elf Theme
10 - Night Elf X1
11 - Pursuit Theme
12 - Naga Theme
13 - Orc 1
14 - Orc 2
15 - Orc Theme (Old School)
16 - Orc X1
17 - Sad Mystery
18 - Lich King Theme
19 - Undead 1
20 - Undead 2
21 - Undead 3
22 - Undead X1
23 - Trailer Music (A Call To Arms)
This will be added to the playlist in the next few days. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

My pleasure!
Well now you can at least extract the song you like from the game. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I had no idea there was a soundtrack to Warcraft III. Is it for sale on any site? Or do you have to get it yourself from the cd?
I guess I'd rather get it from the cd.
Peace! |

The official soundtracks contains more music (Cinemetic suite). You can get it when you buy the special edition of the game. The game music itself can be ripped from the game using the world editor. |
