This is it! The day has finally come!
For those of you who are more new to the chatboard and forum, I'll fill you in.
Wolf and Clem are Streaming Soundtracks first couple. Wolf would log on pining over a girl he knew at his school, but was too shy to talk to.
Some of the nicer people on the board (so precluding me) told him he should talk to her... things happened.... they talked... she began logging on and VOILA! They're a couple... then as if by magic, VOILA! They're engaged! There was always a bit of movie type drama going on with them. Such as the time Wolf fought a wrestling match for Clem's honor.
But alas, something was afoot in paradise! Oh yes! Wolf and Clem's stories began to sound a little too fantastic. A little too contrived... a little too..... written and made up.
And that's when the similarities began to emerge. The two of them certainly talked almost exactly alike... used the same style of punctuation, but most of all.... they simply just gave off the same vibe.
Was SST's first couple really ONE PERSON? Arguments arose... mostly comprised of people calling me an idiot with no life... which might be true, but now and then someone would agree with me. It was finally voted that Clemwolf sounded better than Wolfclem, and thus the CLEMWOLF THEORY was born stating that Clem and Wolf are in fact: just one french guy or girl posing as a couple.
Time passed and the theory died out... faded away. Heck, we just got bored of it....
UNTIL TONIGHT.
After a long Sabatical from SST, Wolf and Clem returned tonight... and within five minutes this happened. (POST TO FOLLOW)
Is it PROOF? Is the Clemwolf Theory true? I leave that decision up to you, dear reader. The proof lies below (Remember to read from the bottom up.) You heard it here first folks. Off the record, on the QT and very HUSH, HUSH....

Clem: "Cocles, He read it around 10 times in both French and English and as for cheese... he is allergic to milk... Too bad."

In case you're wondering, I was responding to a claim Wolf made that Jeric had received a postcard from he and Clem (as evidence that the theory was untrue).
As for the explanation, Wolf would go on to claim that it was only today that he had logged on as Clem.
Is this sufficient? Do we believe him? Don't I have something better to do? Hm.... |

Yes it's true... SlowMy, Cal and I did consider the possibility of a french conspiracy. The Clemwolfcaray Theory? 3 in one?
But since Caray was so oblivious when Wolf made his little slip-up we've decided to let her off the hook.
She's either a legitamate person (see I can give compliments), or Wolf is totally nuts. |

I seem to remember the first few times that Clem logged on here and "she" and Wolf would converse at some length in French. All of us were complaining that we did not know French and to switch to English. Either Clem is real or Wolf's nickname could be Sybil. I have also spoken with them at different times(both in e-mail and on the chatboard) and the personalities are not the same. This could be consistent with the multiple personality theory. As to the above excepts from the chat I have to say that clem and wolf have to do some prooving that they are 2 different persons.
It is not unknown for 2 people to log on as eachother (Cocles and Slowmo for example) but that was a special case and they are very different types anyway. IF the Clemwolf theory is true AND he/she is making the other person up then he/she is an incredible actor to maintain a consistent image of both characters over this length of time and a slip up like that is consistent there. If hte story of the swapping IDs for the day is true than it is mighty convenient. Pictures will not prove the case here.
I have to say that I am still on the fence on this issue. I like them both and when the scientology argument arose Wolf was furious with me and Clem was on my side and trying to calm Wolf down. The writing styles are not identicle as Cocles clains as Wolf has a slightly better grasp of English than Clem does but they are VERY close. AUGGGG! I hate to do this, but Wolf and Clem NEED to prove they are 2 different people somehow. Any suggestions? Pictures can be faked. How about a telephone call. Caray is "local" and we are agreed that she is not in the conspiracy so she can judge this.
