Isabel is predicted to hit us smack-dab. Just an FYI in case there's no SST sound coming out of your speakers Thursday. We have a 15 minute UPS but that probably won't cut it. Power goes out here like it's in style.

Well if you are going to join the forums there is no better way to start. as of 11:00 AM Wednesday, landfall is predicted for approx 10 AM around Charlotte NC and central VA about 6 PM. Batten down the hatches folks cause it looks nasty.

Myself I am starting to get worried about Jeric and BQ. Let us know how they are Mr. C. if they are still without power or unable to get on and talk to us themselves.

I have spoken to some friends near Ashland (in Richland) and it seems there is alot of water (duh)..i.e. flooding, and some power lines are still down, but they were noticing power coming back as of last night (Friday). I think the cleanup in interior NC might not be as bad as in Virginia which is why I hear NC is getting power. VA isnt expecting power to be restored until mid next week. But it may be in the process of coming on in NC now. Raleigh had alot of rain too, but they have power too.

Any news from Jeric and BQ would be really welcomed at this point tho. I think where they are got hit fairly hard.

I heard from Jeric this morning. They're all fine, just without power, and we'll have the streams back up as soon as Jeric's lights come back on.
