The dark winter is approaching in giant leaps (had our first snow last night) and some happy tunes to keep the depressing feelings away would be appriciated. So, which soundtracks gives you a big smile?

John Williams

ET, Harry Potter.... he's widely seen as being one of the more "uplifting" composers.

Then you have A.I. and Schindler's List by JW which are quite the opposite of uplifting but are some of his best in my opinion.

Most uplifting, i would have to go with almost any animated movie score...Shrek & Dinosaur in particular.

If your looking for more of a serious uplifting then I would recommend Jurassic Park or Armaggedon (mis-spelled most likely..)
