Well, I don't know if everyone's avatar has a lot of meaning. I just like my boxing kitty _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

I'm not a big fan of cats per se... But I do get a kick out of some of the lolcats, and I laughed my ummm... head off the first time I saw yer pugilist feline!
I still chuckle everytime I see it... I get jealous even that I'm not that creative... LOL

My nickname comes from the telephone number for emergencies, when I worked for Nortel in Richardson, Texas during the dot-com boom.

My nickname is a missspelling of Valefor, which is the Demonprince of Theft from a roleplaying game. *g* I always thought it was spelled Valfor and liked it, and it isn't used often in forums and the like. *g* |

Ummm .... I was standing on a corner and this dude said, "Yo Jim, which way to the Colosium!?" And I said, well you wanna go right down past third street, take a left, then when you see this big red dog in this yard filled with mechanical sh**, you look across the street, and you'll see in the distance a big water tower with the name Leon Freeon scratched on the side of it. You don't wanna go that way. What you do wanna do is go straight. And after about 3 and 3 quarters blocks length -- you will see a dude on the corner name of Chuckee. Now Chuckee knows where to tell you to go, so you just go on and give Chuckee twenty bucks and Chuckee will tell you the rest.
And that's how I got that name Jim |

Oh man...mine's really embarrassing!!
Ok. I got zgurl49 when I was in Jr. High when I first started dating my now fiance Zack. Zgurl is actually abbreviated Zack's Girl.
The 49 comes from Zack's name too...in jr. high it was the "thing" to write the number that corresponded to the guy you liked on your hand...zack's is 49.
4 because of the 4 letters in his first name and 9 because of the 9 letters in his last name.

Just in case someone doesn't want to go through all these pages, I'll quote my old and still actual explanation

Mine is actually quite easy to explain.
BPE are my initials (though I usually never use my second forename) and since I'm living in Vienna (=WIEN in german), there should be nothing complicated left... |

Well, I would have to agree that I didn't use forums much (guilty), partially because I love to chat but more so because when I'm at work I have work to do and when I'm at home I spend more time with the kidlets and wife but I'll be glad to do more posts as time goes on and certainly be more of a part of this aspect of SST. The forums do have a tendency to feel a little overwhelming because of the sheer size of them all. They also tend to be a little more difficult to navigate some times but not all the time, it depends upon the sizes.
Cantus is literally "songs" in latin, I figured since I edit songs and sing songs, and love songs, it was a perfect fit for me. It's a simple explanation but there's also my handle "Daehenob" which is my old cats name spelled backward, you have to figure it out.

I started out with Deadkey093, which is my CB/Ham radio handle. I got the Deadkey part from people I used to mess with on the CB. My CB had alot of power and I could "squash" people all over the valley. So every time someone was using the airway inappropriately, I would just key the mic and not say anything (a dead key) till they went away. People that knew me started calling Deadkey. The 093 part came from the last three didgets of my radio lisence.
Now I'm Soundbite which I got from Cinder to sorta match my avatar. I thought they both match me better for this site. _________________ What tomorrow brings, we can not know.

Ok, I think I should explain my name too
Nessy has nothing to do with the monster of Loch Ness (because the monster is Nessie ) Nessy is a nickname for Vanessa, which is my middle name and but actually my first name too
The Sheep is another nickname, I had a few years ago and it has a connection to my family name
And Sheep are my favorite animals |
