That concert is going to be on tour all over the world. So if it's not by you, don't fret.

To postman: (not to cocles)

I was there last night, it was abselutely amazing. At the end the packed stadium was on their feet, shouting and stamping. Thank you, howard Shore!

Oh man.. now all this thread is going to be filled with is one set of wanks making another set of wanks feel bad for not being there.

"I was there, it was AWESOME! Very Happy"

"Dangit, I wish I was there. Crying or Very sad "

"Sucks to be you. Cool I was there too! Loved it!"

"Darn, why isn't it coming to MY country? " Sad

Lol, indeed I wished I could have been there, but had to do something else. This concert was the closest it would get to my country.

But I just ordered the LotR:FotR soundtrack (I already have TTT and RotK), so I can listen to it when I want to.

Awesome!

That was what it was. I had to get used to that the put the sound over the speakers but after getting over that it was awesome! It was a big hall because 8000 people were listening to it. Concert was sold out. I saw of course lots of hobbits and elves and stuff :-|. Before the intermission they played 40 minutes of FotR tracks. Same as on the score. After the break he played the TTT and the RotK tracks. Half an hour each.

Tears in me eyes in 'The White Tree' of course :D

I was with three mates and one of them is a conductor too. I had a nice conversation with him about Shore's conductor skills. He is a great composer, but he is not a conductor. He was just waving his hands :-)

One things I would like to have seen is a nice finale. The problem is that it ends with 'Into The West' that is not an end that sweeps the audience to do a standing ovation. And that man deserved that.

"Upcoming concert tour cities in 2004 & 2005 include: London, Sydney, Amsterdam, Central Park in New York; Philadelphia, the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, CA and Seville, among others."

That sounds cool. I would love to go see it. I just dont know if its gonna be around me anytime soon. Does anyone know if its going to be coming anywhere Near Florida? Cuz if it is Im just gonna go. If not anywhere near florida then Im Going to New York. One way or another. Twisted Evil

I think that it would be really cool to experince the feeling that I get when I listen to it on my cds with thousands of other people when its live Very Happy . I've never really seen anything life like that so I would just die if I didnt get to have that chance. >.<

Keolanut, the concert closest to you would be Atlanta, Georgia, June 3-5th.

I thought about driving 7 hours to Atlanta, but decided I'd rather spend the money on a nice vacation at the beach instead.

Other concert dates can be found at:

Are you becoming color blind in your "old" age Cal? Because for me, the color appears to be more orange than purple! Laughing Wink
