ok Aliens vs. Predator. Cocles i'd like to hear what you think about the plot/story for this one. i've read what i can about it. and i'm not sure if it will be good to go see. Now what started it was Stan Winston was not called up to do the creature effects for both. (booooo) and the story takes place in a temple in anarctica. yes that is righ. a temple in the frozen land under ice. huh? WTF? some of the story seem interesting but still i'm not sold on it.
just want to hear what you all think.

On first glance it looks like the kind of thing that could be real friggin' cool or really friggin' dumb.
Thinkin' about it more, I'm guessing it's going to be the kind of movie where you'll enjoy if you go to theater just expecting some good dumb fun. |

I just can't believe that 20th Century Fox turned down Ridley Scott and James Cameron for Paul W.S. Anderson! With Cameron behind the camera, this could have been a great movie. With Anderson, we should be lucky if we get a movie on the same level as Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection (which is not a positive thing). If there's an ALIENS vs. PREDATOR movie, 20th Century Fox better sign Cameron to write and direct it.

I don't think Fox turned them down. I think those directors ultimately decided they didn't want to do it. |
