1)Why do does ranks excist?
2) How to obtain a rank?
3) If I finaly have one, what to use it for??
I know, this my sound stupid for some frequent users or nerds. But he, I'm just a musician in a army band.

It's me again...
I've just posted my previous messege and when I look at it I see a rank (cadet 1) with my name. Is this what the ranks are all about???

Oke,
I've got my answer to the 2nd question. But, the 1st and 3d are still there........Please tell me, there has to be a more deeper thought behide the ranks other then a asshole typing a lot bull*****??!! Or ain't it? |

Well I don't know how intentional it is. Being that some of us top posters would hit that level at least someday. The ranks are basically for fun. There also may be a faq on this... Anyways, I have a few posts/ranks under my belt because I have been around for a while. Other ranks, the higher ones are given out by the site owner and administrators. once you ger a title like that, People tend to thank you or pick on you more for helping out with the site.

Rank doesnt mean a thing except for the admirals. They help the Owner/"fleet admiral: Jeric in keeping SST the best soundtrack place there is.
How does one become one? Easy Jeric has to like and trust you and thinks you are able to do the extra tasks. |

Okay, So i have a high number of posts because I talk a lot... Which means I am a fairly active member, and participate in many threads and discussions... Now you could argue that some posters myself included don't have quality posts... Meaning that we waste peoples time with our drama threads, petty arguments, and just plain goofing off... Those who normally say things like that are jealous that someone else has a higher number thread count even though they became a member a month after them...
Example would be Cocles, and Cal...  BURN!
Cal I hope you know that I am just screwing with ya. My rank means nothing to me, I jaut like bieng here!
I hope that this answeres any quetion or future quetion on ranks. |
