Has anyone heard anything about a complete score release for The Lord of the Rings trilogy? I heard that Howard Shore mentioned something about it in an interview, and was wondering if anyone knew anything more about it.

I would think it wouldn't be out until at least November when the extended edition of Return of the King is released. Shore mentioned NINE discs... |

Howard Shore had an interview with Dan Glossamer of Soundtrack.net. Here is a quote from that interview:

I don't know - it's conceivable it could be at least 7-9 discs, maybe more! There's easily eleven or twelve hours, if it were complete. I know what people want is the music in the film, so I'm basing it on that premise. Would someone really want all 12 hours? |

I don't think I could ever sleep to it...it's very stirring emotionally. I actually get goosebumps and that butterfly feeling of intensity when I listen.
