I have quite a eclectic music taste. I will listen to almost anything as long as it has a good sound to it and it doesn't involve the killing of another animal, human being, or living thing. I get enough of hearing about death from the news and what-not everyday. Music, to me, is the chance to escape from the worries of the everyday problems and craziness.

I'm listening to lots of different music... heck I even go in a music class, so I get influences all the time from classmates and teachers, so I constantly change what I'm listening to but funk is a long time favourtite

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Tower of Power
Paulo Mendonca
Creed
Audioslave
Norah Jones
Toto
GoGo Dolls

I'm listening alot to musicals too, mostly the classics like Miss Saigon, Chess, Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar etc.

I'd have to say I need to add specific classical music/composers to my previous list.
Antonio Vivaldi (The Four Seasons is awesome!)
Franz von Suppé (The Poet and the Peasant! - some nice syncopation in the piece)
Ludwig van Beethoven (Symphony No. 2 -> I. Adagio molto - Just lovely!)
Well, that would have to do for now!

I listen to a lot of classical, but pretty much anything can find its way to my CD player... except for country. I really don't like country. And I do listen to quite a bit of U2.

Well, looking through my library, apparently I like a lot of:

Sarah Brightman
Amethystium
Enigma
Enya
Lisa Gerrard
Loreena McKennitt
Massive Attack
Paul Schwartz (Aria 2)
and some of that Pure Moods crap.

The rest are soundtracks. I haven't really acquired any new music in a long time, though, so most of this is just old stale moldy stuff. o_o

Opera (fanatic), Jazz and Fusion
(Jazz, Rock, Latin and Indian). I
also love to listen to listen to
Chants and the Tuvan singers.

Specifically, I prefer the Italian
operas but love a great performance.

Chick Corea and the Mahavishnu
Orchestra, with John McLaughlin
hold high honors for me in Jazz.

I'm an ELP, Yes and Tull maniac.

I love Eddie Palmieri and Conexion
Latina, along with Tito Puente.
