well this is interesting. I myself am worried. I like bond being the older guy... I could see O.B. playing a character like bond but not Bond himself. I think they need to pull out sean connery and have him do a cameo... that would bring fans in! Cool

I think this could be a good thing. As long as they don't totally sell out and try to make the bond movies like "The Fast and the Furious" I think a younger bond would be pretty cool.

Wasn't there some talk of having Hugh Jackman ("Wolverine") from X-Men be the next James Bond? I think he would be pretty good...Just some pages I found on it.

Every other week they're announcing a new bond.

They've also considered Jude Law and Rupert Everret.

I have heard that Hugh Jackman is the most popular of the possible replacements of Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. It's too bad, I really thought Pierce was a great Bond. I'm hoping that he will be able to do at least one more movie, because it is still so early in the game to be announcing that he is not returning.

He's in the next one coming out. They're talking about replacing him for the one after that.

Entertainment tonight had a poll on this subject... Cool

Brosnan Tops Bond Poll
March 24, 2004

Yesterday, ET viewers were asked to vote on who they'd like to see as the next James Bond. PIERCE BROSNAN still tops the list with 42 percent, with fans hoping to see him slip on that famous tuxedo for another installment of the 007 franchise. ORLANDO BLOOM gave Brosnan a run for his money, however, with a close 38 percent. HUGH JACKMAN and COLIN FARRELL followed with a respective 14 and 6 percent.

Brosnan recently told a Canadian newspaper that he has reached an impasse about the next Bond movie with its producers, however. The actor is quoted as saying, "The bar for these movies was raised so high with the last one and they don't seem to know how to improve on it. They don't have a script or a director so the rumors that we will begin filming in the fall are just rumors." 'Die Another Day,' co-starring HALLE BERRY, marked the 20th Bond film on its 40th anniversary and pulled in more than $300 million at the box office. Should Brosnan bow out of doing a fifth round as 007, other actors have already been mentioned including Bloom, Farrell, Jackman and 'Bourne Identity' star CLIVE OWEN.

Good, Brosnan is my favorite. I wish he could stay for longer.

See!!!

I know he's been in something else but he's primarily known for playing the role of Wesley on Buffy and Angel.
