If this has been posted already, forgive me...
I don't know how everyone feels about this but there are somedays, when selections are chosen that run 20-minutes long. I can understand how some people might not go for this, including myself. I threaten the Shaft but it does no good.
I heard someone suggest that we cut up these tunes but I don't see how that can be done easily. No solution? Any ideas?
Or do we just grin and bare it?

Pete, I just posted on this under a different topic. I said, "One of the major draws of this site over the other soundtrack sites is the real-time request feature. Absolutely awesome. Sometimes I use it to request my favorite cues and other times I use it to sample what's out there. I say don't mess with the format. By and large, the super long cues aren't requested that often." I'm not real hip with the epic Crimson Tide cues, but they're not played that often. I love the Rachmaninov on the Shine ST, but don't particularly want to hear them on this site. The only other suggestion I can come up with (other than grin and bear it) is to double the time between when the cue is requested and when it can be requested again. Instead of every 4 days, make the 20+ min. cues requestable only every 8 days. |
