Well, I dont think I would listen to l365 even if pop were added. And I think you guys and (to include Cocles) ladies are hilarious.

This makes no sense... I don't see why it should be necessary to make such a change. For the time being, I'll regard this news as a cruel April fool's joke.

I'm anxiously counting down for April 2, 2004, for this nightmare to be over. If, however, I do not wake from this flight of fearful fancy, then April 12, 2005, will have to be my next day of consciousness.
BTW, Jeric, you have the coolest avatar EVER.
edited to praise Jeric and his wise choice of avatar

Well at least all the 15 year old pop and soundtrack loving teenage girls will be happy. Wait that is only about 1/100000000000000 of the world.
Current listeners and fans are not being treated with any loyalty. To enact a change like this is to knowingly plant tares among the wheat. Exchange pottage for birthright. As a result no one will be tricked into loving movie scores and a year of realistic and beneficial planning and development will be the opportunity cost. Not worth the trade.
see ya April 2005 if you're still here |

I have two things to say on the subject...
1. I love this site and will continue to listen/participate and support whatever happens,
2. So, do you need some pop CDs donated then, Jeric?....... |

Thanks morningstar64. I think Gallows and Gecko have the coolest avatar. Hey, I just got a new idea for a contest!!
mellowman, no that's alright. I have even more pop CDs then I do soundtracks. So we're looking at having over 100,000 songs.
Woohoo!
Thanks though. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Jeric can't you PLEASE PLEASE JUST RECONSIDER! HEY All of you newbies, send money in to the site to persuade jeric to leave it as sst... He is switching to pop in hopes that a site can continue running... So i think we should send in cash donations. TO THE PAY PAL!
BTW this is all my opinion. |

Congratulations, you`ve finally done something to make me post here. Let me get right to the point, I am so totally against the idea of "Pop-And-Soundtracks", it ain`t funny!
I hope this is only an elaborate April Fools joke, otherwise I`ll never return to the station after the change. If I want pop music, I`d got to WOLF FM or some other station. |

This had better be an April Fool's joke because I think a mix of more pop than soundtracks will drive loyal soundtrack lovers like myself away.
Please reconsider making the ratio 50-50 and playing the pop, rock, country, or world music from soundtracks instead of mainstream pop.
Buena Vista Social Club and O'Brother, Where Art Thou is more to my taste than Britney! |

Since the site will be opening up to pop music we should re-introduce some old posts from the requests forum for pop STs.
Bad Boys II
Blues Brothers

Psh, obviously sst will lose a lot of its current listeners, but pop ain't called pop for no reason! Before you know it, there'll be a swarm all listening like mindless drones. Vivá la revolución! |
