Alright, even though I mentioned April Fools joke, y`got me! Fell for it hook, line, and sinker!
Still, it did bring out a great (dare I say fantastic?) show of support for the station.

Guess I won`t be listening to WOLF FM anytime soon! Mr. Green

I can't believe anyone fell for it. I mean, come on, who believes Cocles?

Cocles wrote it in "JERIC-style" :-)

There was noting that would indicate that Cocles wrote it.

I had been planning this for weeks. What really nailed it was the website & email addy, and all the credit for that goes to the bud of mine who put those together.

And yes, I purposely used Jeric's tone of writing when I wrote the original announcement. I then figured out with SlowMo and Cal how the thread "discussion" in the forum should pan out, with SlowMo loving it and Cal hating it but feeling outvoted.

You should have seen some of the emails I got via PAS's webmaster address. Everything from pratically crying to ready to kill us. Very Happy

I would have almost felt sorry for all of you if I wasn't having so much fun. Wink

What did I say in the original fools-thread?

Quote:
And I totally get it! Wink

Note the winky... I had just come from another website with a sort of similar april fools joke, so I didn't take the bait at all [shameless self-bragging]. But I tried my best to play along even though I didn't say much.
Great joke though Smile

I believe you Chandler. You had a nice way of letting us know you were not fooled, without letting other people know. :-)

That was quite clever of y'all; I totally fell for it, making violent threats concerning the tenth circle of hell... until a couple of you guys convinced me not to commit suicide, but that it was indeed April 1! I'm really genuinely happy that this will remain SST. But I do have a suggestion so that we might rise in popularity...

Gregorian Chants and Soundtracks!! GAS!
Okay, not my idea... got it from somebody on the chat, but really... it would be immensely cool.

I listened to a Gregorian Chant stream once. It got really ... boring after a little while. It was nice for a few minutes, though.

Gregorian chant - it reminds me of that movie where they have a row of monks walking along and every so often, they all bash their heads with a board they're holding in their hands! Man, I think I would be doing that if I had to listen to GC.

An African Swallow! But then African Swallows are non-migratory so it must be a European Swallow. Are you suggesting you want coconuts? Laughing
