You may have noticed the queue has been trimmed down. There are a few reasons for this. In order of importance:
1. DMCA Compliance: The DMCA forbids announcing the artist in queue. This is something we've done unknowingly for a while. We want to make sure were not breaking any laws.
2. Bandwidth: The queue page was consuming too much bandwidth. If we go over our limit we risk being shut down for the rest of the month or having to pay a lot more money to keep the site active. The page should load a lot faster now too.
3. Visibility: The queue is getting quite long during peak times. We will be able to see more of it now and our ad in the middle will be more visible.

I noticed it, tonight, Jeric. OK. Boy, DMCA... What dogs... ruff.
I think it doesn't do as much, in promoting the releases on behalf of the sponsers but what can you do, if that's what the regulation says.

When I think about the loss,
what I miss most is not being
able to see my request, in order
to anticipate, when my request is
coming up and also when Matrix
and Obi are coming up, for the
chat. Anyway we can see a bit
more of what's coming?

I don't understand. The queue is not truncated. Only in SST-Lite the limit is 5.

I understand, now. Last night, I saw
you working on it and saw the long cue
truncated. You must not have been done
with it yet. Sorry. My bad.
I was going to suggest bolding the title
against the song title for contrast.

Problems with the new queue:
1) No link to the album info. Maybe you're going to add this later?
2) The track lengths are shown after other details, which makes it more difficult to count how much time one has to wait for own request to be played. Before, the track lengths were in a vertical line and could be quickly counted. Could it be possible to justify the track length to the right?
I don't know if it would save any bandwith, but you could get rid of the useless chat smileys. |

I think the times should be more easily visible, as well. I would also like a link to the album info when you click on the name. Bold Soundtrack title would be great, or underlined even. Its just not 100% visibly organized. I understand about regulations and what not. Just wanna suggest things that might make it better for everyone : ) Its also a big bummer the artist cannot be seen before the track plays ... but I suppose I have to take that up with the big dogs.
PS. I love this site no matter what it looks like. |

would it be easier to have the time of the track first then title and info? now when the track is playing it's on the top of the page. you can still click on it for album info plus the link to buy it right?
