Have anyone of you found ridiculous stuff on ebay for sale? Jay Leno has a skit about that. Just wondering if anyone of you know some pretty weird stuff sold on ebay? |

The 2 that stick in my mind is the grilled cheese sandwich that looked like the Virgin Mary and the cane someone put up for sale - their son kept having nightmares from his Grandfather's death, so by putting the cane on ebay, they were hoping to get ride of the nightmares.
Oh! And don't forget the submarine that had been up on Ebay for 1 million dollars! _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |

I have seen a bunch of stuff that is amusing. I also buy sound tracks on ebay. I am addicted!
Most interesting thing however.. while noting this is a family friendly site as bland as possible: They used to sell womens underwear. These were not just ads for the underwear. They came with pictures of the women that had owned the underwear. you can draw your own conclusions. they also sold the old style xl pampers. These were pampers that would fit an adult. they sold for 100 bucks a box. I only know this as I had searched for pampers for my baby at the time as you could buy them in bulk cheap. (yes a real baby not a grown baby |

The funniest thing that I remember was a guy selling his ex-wife's wedding dress. There was a picture of him modeling it. _________________ I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. And the Aircraft Carrier HMS Vengeance for $6 million!

I remember someone "selling" Buckingham Palace once (one of the Queen's residences in the UK). It was cleverly worded along the lines of.. if you win this auction you'll be the proud owner of the multi million pound palace - whether or not you'll be arrested when you take possession of the palace is another matter.
I can't rememeber if anyone actually made a bid... |

I remember the wedding dress one. Turns out the guy made up the whole story. I did model it though. I've also seen a jar with a "ghost" inside, and an offer to fly to your home and beat you.

My fiance tells me that some students put her high school up on ebay as their senior prank. Quite an original one, I say. _________________ "Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens, makes her a home."

Remember the "Human Kidney For Sale?" It actually hit $5.7 million in bids before EBay pulled it. Apparently body parts (I'm assuming just human ones, as plenty of cow and alien parts have gone through) are against EBay rules.
There was also that "Pornography Production Company" that went on sale a few months ago. I believe the starting bid on that was $100,000.
Then there was that "Kindergarten Class for sale." Someone posted a class picture of these Japanese kids and included a full description. It had things like "teacher included. There's a particular higher value to the kid with the 'melon-shaped head.'" _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

I remember that a fan auctioned the coach of his favourite soccerteam on e-bay because of the poor results. Starting-bid € 1,-
At the end E-bay pulled it because it's illegal to sell humans on the internet (Didn't know that actually ) _________________ In a world without justice, one man was chosen to protect the innocent. |

Of course, one could escape that legality by instead auctioning the "services" of said human being. Are they voluntary services? Who can say... _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

I still remember the poor guy at Christmas time. He stood outside, bare naked, holding a box for an X-box in front of himself, begging someone to buy it. _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |
