Couldn't take the release date being pushed back so many times and the trailers just looked too cool, so I went to Ebay and got myself a DVD. This movie blew me away, better than Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon--and I loved that film. Amazing action scenes, a love story for the ladies (hell, I thought it worked too) and a couple cool plot twists. A kung-fu art film. This is the kind of movie Hollywood can't seem to make anymore. And as I heard on this website, Tan Dun's soundtrack rules.
This flick rocked so hard that I'm here preaching to all of you! Don't wait until August--see it now!
