ok now i was told that i could run a plug into the head phone jack in the pc and run it into a splitter (L/R) into the recivier on the Auxiliary space. then listen away on the stereo. Is this right? thx. _________________ If you have it you don't need it. If you need it you don't have it. You need it to get it and you certainly need it to get more of it. I dont really understand your question. But it is possible to hook your stereo set to a computer. It depends if your stereo set has a line-in.
Is that what you mean? |

Obi, should be simply a case of plugging the jack into the headphones socket on your computer, plugging the left and right jacks (the red and grey plugs) into your stereo, switching the stereo to Aux or Line-In and then turning the volume up! |

Right, depends on your soundcard. My analog out goes to my stereo receiver while the digital out goes to my PC speakers. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Yes, Obi-son... this should work for almost all systems... in fact, it is exactly what I do. |

I got it the other way around. :-)

To me it depends on where you spend more time. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

You could also run your signal to a small radio transmitter and broadcast it throughout your home, so you can pick it up on an radio in your house. |

You know you guys are so behind the times. What you need is an audiotron. It's a real stereo component that fits nicely between your tuner and CD player and lets you listen to mp3's from any computer on your home network (just don't try it wifi) and it lets you listen to your favorite internet radio station thru your stereo system with out having to stop by your local radio shack and computer store first to pick up enough wiring to qualify for an honorable mention in this years rube goldberg contest.

And before anybody asks no I don't make any affiliate money if you buy one through the link I just really like thing _________________ Actually believes Tron is a movie about mans relationship with God. |

The audiotron is cool, but also $200 bucks. I'm able to do the same thing for $20-$50 with the radio transmiter.
Although if I had the $200 I'd definitely get the audiotron. |

My audio/video set is just 2 meters away from my computer. Nice all those new ideas. But one digital cable suits me fine :-) |

lol... I'm with you on this one, Cal. But then again, I live in such a small space that one stereo hooked up to the computer is more than sufficient. |
