We Europeans have to deal a lot with the random playlist (and of the course the American Nightowls ). When their are not a lot of albums in this playlist, the list is a bit 'buggy': It plays a lot of tracks of the same album over and over again, and other albums are rarely played.
Two examples are the Tango and the Run Lola Run albums. (at the moment there are 7 Lola songs in the played list within an hour)
So my suggestion is to activate the whole playlist again until this 'bug' is fixed in the software. I am listening more and more to my own CDs instead of the stream every morning because of this and I am afraid that more people are doing the same.
Stream is great when America wakes up and starts requesting. |

I agree. Either that or have more request per hour during the US night time to fill in the list. _________________ My reality cheque bounced |

Keep in mind that it takes over an hour just to load the playlist and that has to be done each time I add new content. While it's loading the website does not update and requests are down. Just something else to consider. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I know that, but that is something I can live with. Does the stream work during the update or is that down too? If it is not down, it is even better.
How many times do you update the playlist? I think about once a week. If you do that in the weekends that shouldnt be a problem.

I think it should be the whole playlist, as you have to give a chance to all the wonderful scores on this site all the time. _________________ By responding in any way shape or form, you contractually agree that I’m right, and youre wrong. |

Yesterday morning European time the stream was still set to 2/1. Queue wasn't even that long. Maybe you could try that again Jeric? |

Yeah, that 2/1 moment was pure nostalgia! For once I didn't have to coerce people just to get my favorite combo's in the queue. _________________ "By the time they had diminished from 50 to 8, the other dwarves began to suspect 'Hungry.'" -- Gary Larson |

I've decided to keep around the last 1,000 songs in the random playlist. I think it's working well so far. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus
