Lego, that michaelmoorehates america film looks interesting too. I also looked at the footnotes for Moore's book and wasn't impressed. He should have hired a stable of college student factcheckers like Al Franken. Wink

I saw the movie last night, and I have to say that I liked Bowling much better. This one was just packed with suspicious facts. But I enjoyed it.

Just caught the flick tonight. Liked it, though I liked BFC a bit better. I find it amusing that so many people are passionately angry about Moore's viewpoints. I rarely hear people putting as much energy into nitpicking O'Reilly, Hannity and other right wing celebrity viewpoints. I listen to a bunch of them, right & left, just to hear different ideas...in hopes of developing my own opinions.

Moore's website lists all the sources for the facts presented in his movie. Haven't researched the accuracy, but I credit him for trying to justify his views.

And that Iraq footage...often disturbing, but way more compelling to watch than most of the fluff mainstream media has broadcast in the past year, tanks rolling through the desert, etc.

Maybe if you paid a bit more attention you'd notice that most of us aren't annoyed with what Moore has to say, as much as we're annoyed with how he says it.

and also notice most of us here do see both sides to form our own opinions. We just don't rush to theatres to see them... I'll watch 9/11 on DVD like I did for BFC.

In another thread, I referred to www.bowlingfortruth.com for another perspective on Moore's "views"/rantings. So after you watch it, you can look at the site and compare notes. I'm not too sure I would really want to watch it. If I do, it will be when it makes it to television.

Actually yeah. See the above site. It seems to pick apart all of his stuff that I know of anyway.
