Yeah, great flick, maybe the best super hero movie since the original Superman, IMO. The first Spiderman was cool, but I had no interest in seeing it a second time. Spidey 2? I'm thinking I'll have to get the DVD. _________________ http://www.keith-moore.net

The CGI in this movie was really excellent. The soundtrack was adequate, but not great, maybe I was expecting something a little bigger based on the chorus track used in the trailer.
Spoiler: Way too much time without the mask I mean what's up with that? |
Spoiler: Please don't let the green goblin / hobgoblin be the next villan. William Dafoe looked like a power ranger who wandered onto the wrong set in the first one |

I know what you mean, I think that's exactly why I hated the first movie. I promised myself back then that I would never see a Spiderman movie again, so i'm not going to see 2. |

I'm with Lego on this one, Spidey 2 was way better than the first. Don't wait for the DVD it won't be the same on the small screen. _________________ Actually believes Tron is a movie about mans relationship with God. |

All I have to add is I absolutely loved it! Loved the opening credits too (See legalos's spoiler on that)
I liked it all! Even cried a couple of times. Can't wait for #3 (There will be a number 3 won't there? _________________ http://allthingstolkienandlewis.blogspot.com/

lotrfan2004, according to IMDB, Spiderman 3 is scheduled for 2007.
I enjoyed Spiderman 2 (certainly more than the first one); however, I felt that the story felt lopsided. Maybe playing up the pathos a little too much to the detriment of the action part of the story.
I'll probably watch it again on DVD, but I think seeing it once in the theatre was enough for me. |

Well, being a girl and all, I liked all the non-action stuff. And will definitely get the DVD.
The one thing I didn't like is way too many small kids. And the previews were too intense for small kids. So, my small kids will have to wait for the dvd.
I agree with Legolas - this one was way better than the first. _________________ http://allthingstolkienandlewis.blogspot.com/

Oh boy, that movie rocked! Doc Ock is so cool!
"... or I'll peel the flesh off her bones!"
Spoiler: The main title sequence was fantastic! And Kirsten Dunst looked absolutely gorgeous all tied up. She's a hell of a damsel in distress. |

Well have to admit I loved it... I like the concept of a hero and the choices they have to make. It's that fine line of a public life and a private life.
RE: Earlier comments about future villains, beside the obvious one... Three characters were named that turn into villains later on in the Spiderman comic.
