What scores most deserve to be released but never were? I will convert this into the site poll once we get enough input.
My nominees are:
Back To The Future (Part I) - Alan Silvestri
Bad Boys - Mark Mancina
The Ring - Hans Zimmer _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

The original scores for 13th Warrior and Troy.
Goonies.
And most of all: "HEAVY METAL" one of the greatest scores of ALL time. |

I'd like to add the lesser known Helen of Troy (TV) by Joel Goldsmith. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I agree, it's an amazing score. But we have it at SST... wasn't it released at least once? |

Not sure if this counts: the full score for Oceans 11. The one with 30-some tracks, not the 11 or 12 you get normally. I think it was a special promo deal for award consideration or some such.

Pretty sure Silvestri's "CastAway" has no full score (one track on some greatest hits CD is all I've seen). Be nice to have a full score available. _________________ S370HSSV-0773H |

I couldn't agree with the nomination for "Heavy Metal" more. Why this score has never been officially released is beyond me.
I have noticed that there are a lot of electronic scores that never see the light of day. While not always the most popular, some are quite good.
Trancers (once rated the most requested soundtrack to a B-movie ever)
Night Flyers (this one is available on LP, but not CD)
Tango And Cash (I really want this one)
These are just a few that come to mind.
Oh, and the complete score to The Long Kiss Goodnight (another great Alan score)

Storyteller you are alive! Welcome back.
Blade non song. I loved the songs though even if most weren't in the movie. _________________ Pixie "Actually Tree, I wasn't referring to you as a dingus, but seems like you might just qualify as one now!" |
