Cool obi! You race a lot?

TJ, my wife and I were engaged for many of those years! We meant in 1994 on an archaeological dig. Were with each other ever since!

You met on an archaeological dig? Was it a dig for singles or something? Wink

It even got it's own thread. Is that personal celebration worthy too?

I purchased my first car. Its gorgeous. I'll post the pictures in a little while. I also just found out that its in great working condition, mechanical-wise. It needs minor work, but a bargain and exactly what I wanted for less than what I want to pay for it. Its a 1994 Camry, loaded, leather.
More importantly, I feel safe while driving.

Congrats to the recent post-ers. : )

this is my car!! 'cept today its getting serviced ...
then its gonna be a REALLY happy car!

ALSO: I made upperdivision in Construction Science (what I'm at college for ... its architecture minus design plus building). Now I can take classes with the big boys and get an internship with the big boys as well. I wonder if the big boys will like my new car, too. Anyway, all these things are really exciting for me. The next (and last) thing on my list (for now) is to find a place to live starting September. Once that is over then I get to relax and just do school for a little bit ... till I have to find an internship. (looks like I wont be celebrating for long)

@Rebecca - I'm so glad the car has turned out so well for you. You deserve it!

Personal celebrations?

Well, I'm not sure if this counts, but to have the doctor find a lump and then have it turn out to not be cancer is pretty celebratory for me! Even abdominal surgery isn't scary enough to stop me anymore! Very Happy

Is that some kind of advanced math? My math classes didn't have any odor.

Maddy, glad it wasn't cancer and that anxiety is over! I had a scare from a lump in my neck a few years ago and think the hardest thing was waiting around for the test results. Congrats to everybody else as well.
