Today I updated my website's bio page with my fancy new headshot, and added some links to my superhero poetry on the "My Writing" page.

(I have been hammering away, trying to write a story for the past week for a deadline on Thursday, and I'm coming up with bupkus. Gotta celebrate what I can.)

Turns out I did write that story I was on about in my last post here. Submitted and rejected the same day. C'est la vie.

In more upbeat news, an anthology I'm in is finally available for pre-order. And purchases this month are going to breast cancer research, or something like that.

I sold another story last week! And this is the big news: I got paid professional rates for it. My first professional sale!

I swear, the high from that lasted an entire three days. Every little bit helps.
