Hmmmm...
Unearthed
Fellowship of the Ring
Band of Brothers
A Beautiful Mind
Harry Potter
I'd be tempted to look at:
Princess Diaries
Tortilla Soup
The Tailor of Panama
& The Royal Tenenbaums...
Although I could be wrong. |

The same rules apply here as the 2002 SST Awards.
Nominees must be soundtracks that were released for the first time in 2001. Films, TV and Games are all eligible.
You can make as many nominations as you want.
The award will be "Best Soundtrack of 2001".
Nominations will be accepted until Midnight Monday night March 31st, (Pacific/Chatboard Time Zone).
Shortly thereafter a poll will be compiled.
The winner will then be announced on April 30th.

My Best Soundtrack Nominations, 2001
James Horner, A Beautiful Mind
Howard Shore, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Alan Silvestri, The Mummy Returns
John Williams, A.I. Artificial Intelligence
John Williams, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
I don't think Moulin Rouge should be eligible because most of the music is not original. If it is nominated, voters should only consider the new music composed by Craig Armstrong. _________________ My top 5 soundtracks:1. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial2. Jurassic Park3. Apollo 134. A.I. Artificial Intelligence5. Forrest Gump |

It's a difficult one. My Top 3 is so close. But I think LOTR has some more variations and I'm a big fan of Enya. She's the one that makes the difference.
So, my nominations for 2001 are:
1. LOTR - Fellowship of the Ring
2. Pearl Harbor
3. Beautiful Mind
4. Swordfish
5. Tomb Raider (The Score) _________________ In a world without justice, one man was chosen to protect the innocent. |
