Is there any interest in having a special day for composer, Elmer Bernstein? His birthday is on April 4, 1922. I think there would be enough material, assuming it's available.
He really was one of the major film composers of the '60s and '70s, including an Oscar and a couple of Golden Globe awards.
He was also one of the first composers to include electronic sounds into his scores. (Some might think this would disqualify him. )
What say you? |

Currently there are only 16 Bernstein scores on the database and a few compilations that have Bernstein trakcs on, I don't know if there would be enough variation for a whole day of his music alone.
But it's certainly a good idea. |

Maybe we need a day for "Composers who deserve a day but we just don't enough material for them to support their own exclusive day" day. Of course, we'd need a better title.

Help me out and some more of his
great scores in and we'll have a
ton of his work ready for next
year! What do ya' say?
