I think it'd be nice if RSS was made available of the queue, perhaps some other sections as well, like Top 100 Rated and such. Well, there you have it. |

that would mean a new version of RSS after every minute of the song. So after opening up my reader which I have not opened for like 8 hours. I get like hunders of new messages.
Not to mention the extra bandwith if it catches on. Dunno much about RSS feeds though. Gray is the guru on that one ;-) |

I was thinking about that some more last night after I suggested. The refreshing is a problem as is the bandwidth. I probably should have given it some more thought first. What if you were to refresh the feed every 15 minutes or so, and just append to it? That'd cut down on the refresh issue as well as some of the bandwidth problems. Just a thought anyway. _________________ How many people get to have their own symbol just for them? ™ |

I personally think an RSS queue wouldn't add much to the site, because of the frequent updates and that there's already a good queue section on the site itself. Also, people that are subscribed with some program to the feed, will also download the queue when they're not listening so this might use up too much bandwith. Turning the news into an RSS feed might be a possibility but I think I'd rather prefer a list of new soundtracks or something. |
