I am sorry if this has been added but is not just in the database because of the move, but I could not find any record of it. I am requesting the soundtrack for The Bodyguard by Various artists (including Alan Silvestri and Whiteny Houston)
For music samples go here: Amazon Link
TRACK LIST:
1. I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston
2. I Have Nothing - Whitney Houston
3. I'm Every Woman - Whitney Houston
4. Run To You - Whitney Houston
5. Queen Of The Night - Whitney Houston
6. Jesus Loves Me - Whitney Houston
7. Even If My Heart Would Break - Kenny G/Aaron Neville
8. Someday (I'm Coming Back) - Lisa Stansfield
9. It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day - The S.O.U.L S.Y.S.T.E.M.
10. Peace, Love And Understanding (What's So Funny 'Bout) - Curtis Stigers
11. Theme From The Bodyguard - Alan Silvestri
12. Trust In Me - Joe Cocker/Sass Jordan

Following what seems to be the trend in this forum I advice you to read the sticky in this forum as well as the FAQs. Then you will come to the same conclusions as the rest of us in that this isn't the kind of soundtracks that's played at SST. _________________ "Anything one man can imagine,

Chandler: I have read the sticky in this forum and the FAQ I never once to my knowledge read anything narrowing down what tpyes of soundtracks could be requested. The closest thing I have come across is here: http://www.streamingsoundtracks.com/modules.php?name=Schedule where it says that about 10% of songs played are vocal. Just becase you may not like some of the songs on that soundtrack, or just because they are mostly vocal, does not mean that it isn't worthy of being here. I realize that most of the soundtracks here on this site are 100% instrumental. Just listen to a sample of Alan Sylvestri's theme. That alone is worth the adding of the soundtrack. But, we will let Jeric decide this matter since it is, in fact, his site. |

Hi Crisis,
Because I'm a good girl, a newbie and I had the same problem with "the Mask" soundtrack, I started to read the FAQ for newbies (and yeah it's really long to read...I'm not done yet). Anyway, here is what I think people are making reference to:
Q: Why don’t you have various artist/music "inspired by" soundtracks?
A: Yippe-skippy! One of the most often asked newbie questions. We don't have those kinds of, ahem, "soundtracks" here, because they’re nothing more than marketing gimmicks set up by the studios. We play scores here, damnit! Music written for the film’s story! Music with Heart! With Soul! Music that makes you sound like a bong sucking hippie when you describe it! _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

I 100% agree with that. They are nothing more than marketing gimmicks, a scam created by greedy people. However, it does have a track by Alan Sylvestri and other music used in the movie, and since there is no straight score soundtrack for this movie, this is the only way to get it (unless you downloaded it illeagally). It is a nice piece. I don't know, maybe it's to much trouble for 2 or 3 measly songs. I just thought that it would have been nice to have it here, that is all. |

Kudo's to Schroddie for checking out the newbie faq.
Crisis. Don't jump down Chandler's throat for giving you a heads up. Next time be more clear, since it seemed to pretty much all of us that you wanted to plague our station with a bunch of Whitney Houston songs. |

Lol. Understood. Never meant to jump down your throat though Chandler, just meant to express my opinions on the matter at hand. |

It also has a Kenny G. track. That alone is worth keeping the album as far away from SST as possible! |
