Another great trumpet track is
"Original Sin" - Terence Blanchard
Boat To Havana
Thanks to thettumom for first introducing this track to me. It's now one my favorites. |

Just heard West Side Story's "Dance at the Gym"
A couple of good trumpet spots in it; very upbeat tune for a good portion. _________________ Quotable quote: "I truly believe that if you are going to do something that it should be done wholeheartedly with passion. I don't remember but dosen't "Burning Homestead" on Star Wars: A New Hope include a sad trumpet solo?!? "The Trio" at The Good, the Bad and the Ugly has one great solo! I don't know if there is a jazzy trumpet solo in the old JungleBook soundtrack, but I wouldn't be suprised! |

Yes, "Burning Homestead" starts out with a great, lonely trumpet solo. I believe that's Derek Watkins on trumpet.
If you like trumpets, then you'll definitely like The Incredibles soundtrack (every track has great trumpet stuff) with Wayne Bergeron on lead trumpet. He's got great solos and can scream like the best of them (very clear and effortless sound). _________________ All I ask is for a chance to prove that money can't buy happiness. |
