Was listening to a radio programme the other day and they were saying there are no plans to release this score. Admitedly, I haven't heard all of it but from what has been played on the radio it sounds great: lush and very classical sounding - a bit removed from some more of his "techno" flavour scores of late.

Has anyone heard anything else about it? I haven't found any links on the net yet, I'll post them here if I do!

As of august 7th, there are no plans to release a Stepford Wives soundtrack; this has much to do with the fact that the movie didn't go as well as film studios expected. Bob Townson of Varese Sarabande had plans to release it some weeks before the movie opened but due to scheduling conflicts with other releases, this didn't happen at all.

As with some releases in the past, it may happen in the long run but due to the high cost of re-use fees (the score was recorded in L.A.) this doesn't seem likely. We'll see what happens when the movie goes released on DVD.
