Thuringwethil: The one that started this thread was an animated gif of a strobe lite, particularly the one usually found of the side of the front bumper on a typical fire engine (at least in the states).
I'll switch it back for a bit. Maybe I should include a warning label? Maybe some smartypants can figure out how to use it to send subliminal messages?

Tech Support Gecko says you need to tell us which browser you are using before you can expect an answer. You may have some kind of option turned on that tells animated gifs not to animate... if you are using IE it'd be in the multimedia section somewhere.
The only other thing that would cause it is if you are low on RAM, maybe. But you'd be having a lot more problems than that if you were that low. |

Maybe my avatar doesn't work because I called it a "strobe lite" instead of a "strobe light". I've got to spend less time on the internet.
I run Firefox and it works for me. I'm not sure what the deal is on your end. You're not missing much, though.
