As some of you may already know, Julia Child died today at the age of 91 in Santa Barbara, California. Although I personally was deeply saddened by this loss, she had such a rich and full life. She added such a wonderful dimension to the world of cooking - bringing it closer to home in many aspects.

I was a bit sad too. I liked her because she made cooking look easy and wasn't afraid to add more butter. She loved to taste everything, which would make me laugh. |
