I have been a huge fan of Vangelis since I was like 6-years-old. He is once again returning to the soundtrack arena, composing and conducting music for Oliver Stone's film, Alexander.
Find out more about the soundtrack and listen to a preview at AlexanderSoundtrack.com. I personally can't wait for this one and hope it makes it to SST.COM as fast as possible upon release! |

Looks very promising to me! I tend to end up liking movies both written, directed and produced by the same man and I'm sure Stone won't let me down. Only thing bothering me on the cast list is Colin Farrel The soundtrack sounds good too. In good old Vangelis-style. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

I am not a fan of Oliver Stone, but the soundtrack will probably be good.
Personally I loved it when Walter Cronkite stepped forward and Stone is a crock.
As far as movies go, I'm waiting for the Alexander movie by Baz Luhrmann, which will most likely be much MUCH better.
Alexander the Great was youthful, effeminate, and gay.
Colin Farell? No. |

Always good to hear something new by Vangelis, a strange but brilliant man. |

He was destined to compose and conduct the 2004 Olympic Opening Ceremonies but internal Greek politics snubbed him. How sad! |
