Oh - could drink a fifth of tequila straight (w/ salt and lime of course) and not throw up or pass out. |
I can just imagine thuring discovering tequila at a frat party:
"It comes in pints?" |

Okay -everyone else, what dumb thing did you do in college? _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Ok, Thuring, in the end you didn't disappoint. It wasn't looking good at first... your first few posts were far too tame.
Speaking of speeding tickets during the college years, one of my friends managed to get four tickets at the same time: one for speeding, another for making a right turn at a red light without stopping, a third for cutting a pedestrian off at a crosswalk and yet another for driving without a seatbelt. Needless to say, it was an expensive night for him. |

I think the most i ever got at one stop was 2.
Figured I had to come at least a little clean with the story once cocles got involved. But like I said, the g-rated version. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Cocles and doodle - It actually took me 9 semesters instead of 8 to finish (i worked the other years) Graduated w/ a 3.3, undergrad. Had a 3.75 in graduate school. Didn't have to study. (Hence why I didn't go to dartmouth - didn't want to have to study) _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

I was quiet in College but, when I taught Physics labs to pre-meds at University of Virginia, it was awesome!! We had lots of fun. Especially my 3rd group was until 11pm when nobody was there.
We threw Liquid Nitrogen on the floor in the hallway to see how it evaporates at room temperature, sang songs with our lungs full of Helium, made an empty ice cups pyramid... Of course, none of this was in the lab manual but it was much funnier and made the labs much more entertaining! _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

I'm in college now, I really dont have any stories. I dont drink and I really don't think its funny anymore to be around people who do.
I think its pretty hip to be square.
It will take me 10 semesters to graduate without goofing off or making a fool of myself. I really want to get out of here as soon as possible and away from the crazy/stupid [EDIT] stuff that people do around here as well. So as for now, I'm behaving myself ... if that ever changes watch out! and I'll let you know ... just dont hold your breath.
... by the way, why would I brag about being stupid anyway? ...
[EDIT] I was just referring to the topic, not people specifically. I apologize if I offended or seem judgemental to you. _________________ Was that an earthquake, or did I just rock your world?

I never bragged about being stupid. But one thing i learned is not to judge others or think i am better than they are when I have never been where they have. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Got really, really drunk once during a horse riding course (after all we had to celebrate the 18th birthday of our instructor's son), tried to walk home (300 miles) until convinced otherwise, drove through the countryside in the middle of the night at 15 mph because was the least drunk of the load and could start the car(I still remember the road swaying under the car), stumbled noisily to bed, and learned painfully three hours later never to do it again.
Hint for the next generation : Do not wake up your riding instructor when coming back smashed in the middle of the night. They are positively vicious the next (very early) morning and have lots of ways to make you regret.
Never got that drunk ever, ever again. *shudder* _________________ My reality cheque bounced |

See becky there is always a lesson to be passed on to others by sharing stupid things you did. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |
