This is a photo of my cat, Madison. She's a muted tortoiseshell with green eyes (as you'll see. ) She is sweet but very demanding of attention and being petted and cuddled. She seems to be okay with cats, but she's been a solo cat for as long as we've been together so...
She and I were meant to be together. For those of you who don't know the story, I had an orange tabby kitten before her I named Gossamer after the monster in the Bugs Bunny cartoons. Big surprise, right? During this time, I needed a user name and decided that since Gossamer in the cartoons lived with a mad scientist, I'd be the mad scientist. Didn't take me long to get tired of typing that out so I shortened it to Maddy. Anyway, when he was 5 years old, he became uncontrollable and I found out he was in extreme pain because his spine was deteriorating. I signed the papers to have him put to sleep, told him goodbye and left the vet's. I couldn't bear to see him die.
I knew I needed a cat because I'm prone to depression and it helps a LOT to have something to come home to. So the friend who was with me and I went to a place run by the SPCA. I was looking at a tuxedo cat when I hear my friend say "um...can you come over here for a minute?" I walked over to this large glass cage they keep larger dogs in and there were these two green eyes looking up at me. I said OMG and the lady who worked there came over and asked if I was looking for a cat. I told her I was and had just had my cat put to sleep that morning. She said I needed this cat then. She was one of the sweetest to come through there in a long time. Did I want to get into the cage with her? I did and this cat climbed up on my lap and started purring. That was it. I was done for!
I got out of the cage, pulled out the card to go pay for her and the name on the card was Madison. I'd been maddy for over 4 years at that point! This all happened in 2001 and she's now almost 16 years old; born on May 2, 1996. _________________ It's hard to soar with dragons when you work with gargoyles!

Oh, Morfeusz! Nice to meet you here
Great to see Jovi, too. She is cute.
And maddy, I've been a fan of Maddison for a long time!
I should have gone with Sirius and Dutch to Houston today! _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

So many cats on SST! Let's see another species
GUINEA PIGS!
BUSTER (Ma Splendeur, Ma Merveille, Ma Saucisse)
Buster is born on April, 17th 2010 and I adopted him at the beginning of August 2010.
He truly changed my life, he instantly warmed my heart as I had a hard time after losing Bidule and Lillie in 2009.
MISSY (Ma Chouchoute, Ma Fifille, Ma Rongeuse, Ma Pouipouite)
Missy is born in the first half of 2010. As she was found abandoned and pregnant, it's hard to know in which month she was born. In January 2011, I first took her at my place until we find her a home but as I discovered she was pregnant, I decided I'd keep her and her babies.
MEG (Mon Bout de Charbon, Mon Feu d'Artifices, Mon Ange, Mon Bébé, Mon Chouchou)
Missy's son. Meg was born on January, 31st (around 8:30 am) in my home.
JO (Mon Petit Ours, Mon Ange, Mon Bébé, Mon Chou, Mon Petit Coeur)
Missy's second son.
AMY (Ma Pouite, Ma Danseuse étoile, Ma Fifille, Ma Chouchoute)
Missy's daughter.
The females live free in the first level of my flat.
The males live up-stairs. Meg and Jo, as brothers, are very close and live together, they're free half-day.
Buster lives alone and is free the other half of the day. |

Thank you, Tonks.
My beloved Bidule was an albino (short-haired) so I was glad to see one of the babies was an albino too!
Anyway, I get 3 babies of 3 different colors (and both parents are brown) I'm so lucky!! _________________ my SF saga (novels in french!): https://tinyurl.com/PerleDeRubis |

Here is Pig, aka Bawlbaby!
She is a tortoiseshell kitty. She belonged to a former neighbor who used to live in the crackhouse across the street, before it became a crackhouse.
In this picture, she thinks she can get some squirrels that were racing around in the giant sweetgum tree. Nuh uh, not for you, kitty.
Her momma hung out at my house all the time, and I called her Boo. When Pig was born Boo hid her, so she never became socialized to people. It took a very long time for me to coax her into letting me pet her. Her name was Miss Piggy, but I didn't like that so I shortened it to Pig.
After the 2007 ice storm, during which Boo and Pig stayed in my shed and I fed them, Boo went crazy and ran away. The neighbor's doofus nephew moved in, and one day he brought over Pig's vet notice and said "We don't want her any more. She hangs out at your house all the time, so congratulations, you have a cat!" Nice. Didn't want to pay for her shots, obviously.
Now she is tamed down enough to let me put her on my lap now and then, and lets my other neighbor pet her a bit. (He feeds her when I'm out of town.) The chat knows her as Bawlbaby, which I call her because she sits outside the kitchen window and yowls until I come out and pet her, whereupon she likes to roll around and play Let's Rip Bru's Arm Off.

I tried to make pictures of my pets at home, but they refused to sit still.
Darn flees. _________________
