Okay people. I get your point, but I have to say for the record that some of the shows listed above were not cancelled. They ended. There is a difference. Let's give them some credit for not getting cancelled, but making it to a place where they were able to bring it to an end. |
You're right. I'm sorry for that.
But for me today's television sucks. At least, there aren't that good tv-shows or series on. In Holland it's nothing but soaps, dumb reality tv or sports. It's not what its used to be, for me anyway. _________________ In a world without justice, one man was chosen to protect the innocent. |

Unfortunately, same in the US, or at least mostly. There are a few good shows on (imo), but the channels are full of really bad shows, day/night soaps, reality crap, or sports.
My list of shows that were cancelled too soon:
Homefront
Early Edition
Quantum Leap
more to come as my brain wakes up. I had tons of shows that I loved (with good neilsens too) but the network heads didn't. |

For me it was this Flemisch Tv-show "the mole".
It was the most succesfull show in ten years and still after two years they cancelled it because it was to intensive for the makers. Then 3 years later they did another season and it hit the magical 2 million viewers line (in belgium, eh). It even won a big European Tv prize.
But still they cancelled it again. |

Cheesy British sci-fi programmes - always cancelled: Star Cops, Space 1999, Blake 7 - guess they were just too bad. But you know what some programmes are like, so bad they're good! |

Well, i am not much into "grown up" cartoons. I don't like the Simpsons either. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |
