I can't use this being a pc person, but thats really cool that you made that. With the growing success of this website, there needs to be more stuff like this around for people to use. Kudos! |

Nice work, moz!
Maybe someone could make an SST Google Gadget. (Especially since there doesn't seem to be too many Mac users around here.)
I'd put an SST Google Gadget on my iGoogle page in a heartbeat!

If someone can figure out how to get the playlist showing up on MCE and my xbox, that would be rad!
Google gadget would be awesome. |

It seems it would be very easy for SST to host a 'Now Playing' Google Gadget.
I was playing around with using the existing links to make a Gadget, and even though I am nearly web-illiterate, I was -almost- able to get it to work.
But even if I was able to make it work, the trouble is, I have no public web space to host the .xml file.
With the existing links, I'll bet the gadget could be created by someone who knows what they're doing in less than 15 minutes.
...And, there's a long weekend coming up...

By the way, when I was playing around with the 468x60 now playing banner, it did not seem to be refreshing very quickly. Almost a whole song behind. _________________ "If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.... A Google gadget would be a cool substitute since there's no more SST Lite. |

I looked at the "Make a Google Gadget" instruction (very briefly, I admit) and I have absolutely no clue as to what they want me to do.
BTW, it said on the page that Google will host the XML-file (or whatever it was) for free, if you send the Gadget in. _________________ "Welcome to the paranoia club; cheapest fees in the universe and membership lasts forever."

To add to requests - a Vista sidebar gadget would be cool (for us that have moved on past XP but think the google gadgets suck LOL) _________________ Visit my blog (family/work safe) http://www.vwillcox.net |
