Community, we need you help on this one.
JERIC and I are currently in disagreement about the track 'Green Hornet' from the Kill Bill volume 1 soundtrack.
Why do I want it:
1. it is a kick *ss track
2. it is a classic
3. it is short
4. it is non vocal
Amazon has a fragment available.
If we can have a 23 minutes Beethovens's 9 why can't we have a short Green Hornet?
Maybe you should read this thread before voting, to see this ST's history.
So community helps us admins out :-) |

Yeah, I just listened to Green Hornet, and it rocks, Flight of the Bumblebee meets Jazz... Cool!
And skip Beethoven's 9th 23 minute track (although I like it, but it is too long) |

I could swear that I heard the Green Hornet theme here at SST awhile back, but doing a search now gives me nothing.
The track sample at Amazon sounds great. If the entire track is non-vocal, I think it should be part of our playlist, mostly because it is a theme from a TV/Movie. _________________ "insert your own clever quote here.... I'm too lazy to do it." |

I liked it, sounds like a scored piece, but i have no idea if it fits the movie or was mad for the movie or anything like that. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

I definitely wouldn't mind it in the playlist. My parents had an Al Hirt record that they played when I was growing up. Two comments:
Definitely add it.
But...
Do NOT associate it with Kill Bill. That is the theme song from the original Green Hornet TV show and should be credited as such. |
