The devastation left across the Gulf Coast is staggering, expecilly for those who live not that far from what has happend. Now I'm not much for speechs, but I believe that we,(at SST) should offer a helping hand thru this unfortunat occurence. If at all possibe, we could set up a donation meter for those in the Gulf Coast, who have almost nothing but the clothes on their backs, and we could also post links to charities and relief efforts who are combating a virtual death that looms over the Gulf Coast, expecially in New Orleans.
Aside from those who are not Americans, We have a moral duity to help these unfortante people Immedatly. My Uncle's family lives within the outskirts of New Orleans, and lucky they have escaped without injury, but my uncle, being a Weather forcaster, is aiding within the anarchy that presently looms over New Orleans. My mother and grandmother, who both live in Texas, has came to aid of those who need it. Both of whom are on their way toard Lake charles where shelters are being set up.
Down below I have listed some support and relief groups who could use your help (American, or not):

American Red Cross
http://store.yahoo.com/redcross-donate2/

The Salvation Army
http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/USNSAHome.htm

AmeriCares
http://www.americares.org/

Mercy Corps
http://www.mercycorps.org/

There are also others listed on this web address:
http://www.charitynavigator.org/

I hope that some of you will be able to help, and when I mean help, I mean it in anyway or form. Weither it be money, clothes, food, blankets, Blood drives. Anything.
And to those fellow SST'ers in New Orleans, help is coming.

...sorry for the bad grammer and spelling I wrote this in a hurry.
