I know that SST Lite went away when the new undocked chat appeared, and I love the improvements that have been made there (and elsewhere), but I was wondering:
Will any of the other Lite functionality (current track, queue, etc.) return at some point?

I may bring back SST-Lite as a seperate module in the future. Not in the immediate plans but I am seriously thinking about it. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

It's back in the undocked part of chat. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Maybe this needs to go under the improvements section, but it's also relevant here:
Thanks for the return of SST Lite. Any thoughts to updating it some? If so, and you're looking for suggestions, here's a thought I've had. Now that I'm running SST Lite again, I realize that I've come to enjoy the "thinness" of the undocked chat. Maybe something could be done like this:
(Hopefully this will look OK in the forum)
---------------

|
|
| Chat
| like
| current
| undocked
|
|
|
---------------
| (text only)
|current track
|
| queued 1
| queued 2
| queued 3
|
| last played
---------------
|
| google ad

I am also for re-releasing the Lite, but as JERIC said it's not in the immediate plans. Both JERIC and I have a lot of other projects going on now and this means we have to cut back a bit on the development of new features for SST. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

I don't think Google do button-sized ads, but other than that its looks pretty useful j2brown. |
