If someone were to coordinate a gathering, would anybody in the Washington DC area (or willing to travel here) be interested in meeting up?
I know there are a few of us in the area, perhaps more. If anybody from distant lands will be in the area perhaps we can work them in as well.
I also know that many would prefer to remain anonymous in the real world. That's fine. This is just trying to get a sense of folks interest/willingness.
If anybody would at least be willing to hear more before saying "no" either reply here or PM me. If there's enough interest we can see if we can plan something.

depends on where it is. i only go to dc to the museums. now wait what about the new air/space museum at dulles? would that work? We could maybe have it near Jeric. it's takes me about 3hrs to get there.

I'm open to any suggestions as far as locations, activities, etc. My initial thoughts were to maybe have a lunch/afternoon gathering. I'm also not opposed to moving south some. My definition of "DC Area" in this case is somewhere where most of us can get to and back in a day. Fredricksburg would be well within that, and we could even do Richmond if there are more folks farther south wanting to participate. Any and all ideas and suggestions are welcome.

I would be willing to meet somewhere in northern Virginia. I would rather keep away from the DC traffic. Fredricksburg would be cool. We should see if there is anything to do there besides go to the mall. Letd dee how many more people would be interested and where they are located.

I'll bet Jeric will be able to attract a few more interested parties. I'm thinking sometime after the holidays and such. Gives us plenty of time to plan and stuff. Continue to speak up with ideas/suggestions/etc.
